Children’s e-Resources

Does your family want to learn a new language? Read a picture book? Get homework help from a real teacher? You can do it all using some of the Belmont Library’s many children’s e-resources linked below.

To access these databases outside of the library, have your Minuteman Library card number ready. For a few databases, home access is available only to Belmont residents.

BookFlix — Read great stories and watch hilarious animated versions of favorite books such as Click, Clack, Moo and Good Night Gorilla.

Hoopla — Hoopla is a way to borrow free digital video, music and audiobooks with your library card. Gain access to thousands of titles – available for instant streaming or temporarily download – and watch on your smartphone, tablet or computer.

Muzzy Online — Muzzy Online is the fun way to learn a second language. MUZZY Online features video content, interactive games and exercises to practice the vocabulary and grammar.

Overdrive Kids and Teen Catalog — Search for eBooks and  eAudiobooks for kids of all ages. Please note that this catalog also includes links to materials more appropriate for teens.
