Using the internet for help with your homework is great, but remember: just because you read it online doesn’t mean it’s true. Here are some good websites to help you find the information you need.
Library databases:
The library subscribes to many databases on a variety of subjects. Access them for free at the library, or at home with your Minuteman library card. They include:
Britannica Fundamentals is for kids ages 4-7 to play, discover, and create through developmentally appropriate activities
Britannica Library for Kids contains Compton’s Encyclopedia, Britannica Elementary Encyclopedia, and a wealth of other age-appropriate material for younger students and children.
Britannica School Edition, a reference and learning suite also offers high-quality online learning materials that have been developed by teachers and curriculum experts
Gale in Context: Biography is for biographical information on the world’s most influential figures
Gale in Context: Middle School: full-text magazines, newspapers, and reference books for middle schoolers
Gale in Context: Elementary: full-text, curriculum-related magazine and reference content for kids in K-grade 5

Current Events: TIME for Kids
