The library at all locations will have adjusted hours in observance of Thanksgiving:
Wednesday 11/27: closing at 1pm
Thursday, 11/28 & Friday, 11/29: closed
Library operations will resume on Saturday, 11/30.

Book Sales and Book Donations

The Friends of the Belmont Public Library are happy to report that book donations have resumed, though in a different way!

There are now 5 donation bins located throughout Belmont where you can leave your book donations – they are open 24/7 and still benefit the Friends of the Belmont Public Library’s fundraising efforts! The bins are located at or close to the following addresses:

10 Claflin St, Belmont, MA 02478-4811 (in the Northeast corner of the Claflin Parking Lot behind Belmont Center)

495 Trapelo Rd, Belmont, MA 02478-1456 (by the Waverley Train Stop)

310 Trapelo Rd, Belmont, MA 02478-1863 (by VFW Post 1272)

2 Trapelo Rd, Belmont, MA 02478-4442 (by the bus stop near Moozy’s Ice Cream)

133 Elm St, Belmont, MA 02478-3731 (by the Grove Street Tennis Courts)

Proceeds from book donations in these bins go to the Friends of the Belmont Public Library who support the library in myriads ways: adult, teen and children’s programming, museum passes and much more!
