Giving Opportunities

The Belmont Library Foundation, a Massachusetts 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, is leading the effort to raise private funds to support a new library building in Belmont. In partnership with Belmont’s Library Trustees and the Library Building Committee, the Foundation is launching a Capital Campaign in 2019 to lead this effort. If you prefer that a gift to the Library be earmarked toward the construction of our new public library in Belmont, please click here to learn more about how to donate to the Foundation.

The Friends of the Belmont Public Library is a Massachusetts 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, focused on enhancing the activities of the library for the residents of Belmont. Funds from membership donations and the annual used book sale have funded discount passes to local museums, young adult and children’s programs, author and music series, the One Book One Belmont community read and other important gifts to the library. The Friends also organize volunteers to help with library activities. Please click here to learn more about how to donate time or funding to the Friends of the Library.

Check out the Library Trustees gift program for special ways to contribute to our funding while gifting to someone or an occasion! They accept memorial books, commemorative gifts, unrestricted gifts, and other bequests.
