Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a limit to how many photos I can submit?

There is no limit to the number of photos each person can submit.

Can I submit multiple photos at once?

Yes, you can submit multiple photos at once. You will need to submit a new form each time but if you complete them right after each other your personal information will automatically be filled in for you.

Can I bring a physical photo to a library location instead of submitting it online?

If you only have a physical version of the photo you can bring it to the Reference desk at the Beech Street Center (266 Beech Street). There will be a form to fill out along with an envelope in which to put the photos in and that will be scanned by a library staff member. Please note if you want the photo returned to you.

Will all photos submitted end up in the scrapbook?

We will try to include as many photos as possible but not all photos submitted will end up in the scrapbook. This will be decided by library staff.

Can I submit a photo with people in it?

Yes! However, we ask that you check with them first before contributing that photo to the Project. If you change your mind in the future, just let us know and we can take the photo down. Please do not submit photos of people without their permission or photos of children without the permission of their guardians.

Is there a deadline to submit photos?

The deadline is October 20th, 2025.

Where will the photos be stored?

The photos will all be stored on the library website through a company called Biblioboard. This allows the scrapbook to be easily accessible online.

How will I be able to see the completed scrapbook and who will have access to it?

The scrapbook will be accessible on the library website and access will not be restricted in any way.

When can I see the scrapbook?

The scrapbook will be available to be viewed on the library website when the new library opens.
