Digital Community Scrapbook: Remembering the Library at 336 Concord Ave

The Digital Community Scrapbook is a local history project composed of photos provided by the Belmont community to commemorate the old library building in anticipation of the new library opening. This project encourages the sharing of memories associated with the library in order to preserve this chapter of its history.
How to Submit
To submit photos please use the link and complete the prompts. You will receive an email after you submit your photos to confirm that we have received your submission.
If you only have a physical photo and do not have a means to scan it, bring it to the Reference desk at the Beech Street Center (266 Beech Street). There will be a form for you to fill out there when you drop off your photo. A Library Staff member will later scan your photo and inform you when you can retrieve it.
Submission Guidelines
Everyone in the Belmont Community is welcome to submit photos. You can submit as many photos as you would like. Before you submit, please make sure that your photo:
- Includes the 336 Concord Ave location of the library
- Was taken between 1965-2024
The Digital Community Scrapbook is a publicly accessible document. Please note that inclusion into the completed scrapbook is not guaranteed.
