How to Participate:

Read, play, and repeat with the Belmont Library Children’s Room! Set your own reading goal, collect dragon, unicorn, and magical creature cards along the way, and win a bundle of prizes when your goal is completed. Want even more fun? Pick up a new Boredom Buster every week to earn even more cards!

This program is for kids from preschool to grade 6 and is generously funded by the Friends of the Belmont Public Library.

Teens & Adults

How to Participate:

• Sign up Online and Set Your Summer Reading Goal! No goal is too small. Check out our list below for examples and inspiration:
  • Read 15 pages every week.
  • Read for 30 minutes every day, for 5 days a week.
  • Finish a book (in any format!) before August 15th.
  • Read something recommended by a Librarian.

• Track your progress! Pick up a paper tracker at the Reference Desk, or use our online form to track your goals. Complete surprise challenges at the library or online. Each completed goal or challenge counts as one entry into our prize raffle. Return completed paper trackers to the 2nd Floor Reference Desk.

• Complete your summer reading goal by August 15th to be entered into our Summer Reading Raffle. Each completed goal or surprise challenge counts as one entry.

Prize winners will be notified on August 26th. Limit one raffle prize per person.
