For Volunteers

Volunteer Orientation……….Monday, 9/12
Learn about what opportunities the library has for volunteers in the 60-minute hybrid presentation from 3:30-4:30PM. This will not be recorded.

Teen Advisory Board………………..Thursdays at 3PM: 9/1, 10/13
The Teen Advisory Board is at the core of program development for their peers: design new volunteer opportunities, build new ideas for programs, and make decorations for the library space.

For Book Lovers

Shh! The Reading Nook……………………..Mondays from 2:30-5:00
Reserve some time after school to enjoy reading again in the library’s quiet Reading Room.

SRS Book Swap………………..Last Wednesdays at 4PM: 9/28, 10/26
Drop by to explore our Book Swap Stash of favorite books brought in by members of our Secret Readers’ Society. Open to grades 5-12.

YA Book Club……………………………….October 17th from 3:30-4:30
Every other month, enjoy sharing the same book with friends of similar taste. Our next book for October is The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow.

Secret Readers’ Society

For Gamers

Tween D&D………………….Tuesdays from 4:00-5:00 in September
With guided in-person game sessions with the YA Librarian, players in grades 5-8 will be able to explore a multiverse filled with monsters, complex riddles, and challenging personal quests.

Boba and Board Games……………..2nd Wednesdays After School: 9/14, 10/12
After school, Boba and Board Games will be available for teens to socialize and destress before working on homework.

Puzzle with Pride…………………..September 22nd from 3:00-4:30
Puzzle with your friends in a timed jigsaw puzzling challenge once a month on Thursday afternoons. This is an LGBTQ+ safe space program.

The Game Room…………………………Last Thursdays After School: 9/29, 10/27
The Game Room is open to students in grade 7-12. Play Nintendo Switch, PS5, Magic the Gathering, D&D, and more!

For Crafters

Hag Havens……………………………………….October 19th at 12:30PM
Register for this in-person craft event to add a witchy-aesthetic book nook to your bookshelves.

TAB Decoration Station………………………First-Come, First Serve
Each month, TAB will set-up its Decoration Station for teens to create crafts in the library. Supplies are first-come, first-serve.

Representatives from Princeton Review show you how to prepare for your college essays and why it’s important.
