DIY and Crafts

Book Clubs

  • Wednesday, December 16, at 5:30 PM. Untold Stories Book Club: Dystopia Edition. We explore Ray Bradbury’s dystopian world of Fahrenheit 451 and the social themes that make it more relevant than ever today. Registration is required for the Zoom Link.   • Wednesday, February 17, at 5:30 PM. We explore the theme, “Being Black in America,” with a selection list curated by the librarian. You may pick your own book from the list and place a hold on the title. View title options and get Zoom link here.
  • Wednesday, March 17, at 5:30 PM. We explore the theme, “Facing Adversity,” with a selection list curated by the librarian. You may pick your own book from the list and place a hold on the title. View title options and get Zoom link here.

Dungeons & Dragons

  • Parents and Teens. Consecutive Wednesdays on December 9 and 16 from 6:00-8:00 PM with guest DM Robert Carter. Register for the events here.
  • Teens Only. A closed-group session meets at 5:00 PM on consecutive Thursdays, December 10 and 17. Characters restart at Level 1 for this session. Email [email protected] to see if there are any available spaces.

Volunteering

  • Want volunteer hours? Be a book reviewer! You can request review copies of YA books on our blog, Spoiler Alert. Once your request has been approved, you will receive pick-up instructions for the review copy and submission process. 
  • Teen Advisory Board will be closed to new registrants for December-March. You may fill out a Teen Advisory Board Application, but these applications will not be reviewed until late March.
  • Homework Hotline will accept registrations for tutors and students through our online form, but the program will be on hiatus until late March. At that time, we will be resuming with a revised format. Please keep posted to learn more.
