Nonfiction Book Club

A colorful painting with text reading 3rd Thursdays 7 pm online.

Just because the library is closed to the public doesn’t mean we don’t still want to talk about books! Join librarians Lauren Pfendner and Chris Tremblay in the Nonfiction Book Club for an online discussion of Funny, You Don’t Look Autistic by Michael McCreary on Thursday, April 16 at 7pm. This memoir by the stand-up comedian brings readers into what it’s like to live in a society that’s not always as welcoming as it could be to people with ASD. The title is the current Big Library Read in OverDrive. The ebook and audiobook are available on the Libby app with no waitlists or holds through April 13.

Registration is required so we can send you the link to join the discussion on Zoom. To register, email Chris Tremblay at [email protected].

Follow this tutorial to learn how to join a meeting on Zoom. If you need help setting up Zoom, please email Lauren Pfendner at [email protected] at least 24 hours before the start of the program.
