Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons

It’s time for some magical Mondays, as Belmont Public Library introduces Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons for teens to the library!

Once a month, Magic the Gathering takes over the Flett Room! Beginners, join us to learn how to play Magic. We’ll provide the cards—which you can keep! Veteran players, we will have open play as well, and access to a deck building toolkit and lands if you need to round out your deck! And if you forget your cards, we have decks you can borrow, too. We’ll be in the Flett from from 3 to 5 pm on Monday May 13th, June 10th, July 15th and August 12th!

For those with a hankering for dice rolling, collective storytelling, and epic battles, we are starting up a library Dungeons and Dragons group, using the Hoard of the Dragon Queen campaign book. We will be meeting May 20th, June 17th, July 22nd, and August 19th from 3 to 5 pm in the Flett Room. Dice will be provided if you don’t have your own and we will have snacks as well! Players of all experience and skill levels are welcome. Sign up online here, as space is very limited!

Both programs are for teens in grades 6 to 12.
