Girls Who Code starts this October!

The new session of Girls Who Code will meet Mondays, 4:15-6:15 pm, starting October 22nd, 2018 and running until February 11th, 2019!

Girls Who Code is a weekly coding club where girls 6th-12th grade meet to learn coding. The online curriculum is provided by national organization Girls Who Code. Girls learn Scratch or HTML/Javascript, with volunteer instructors providing guidance. The group meets weekly on Monday afternoons in the Flett room; the session for girls interested in Javascript will begin at 4:15 and the session for girls interested in Scratch will begin at 5:15. For the first meeting, however, we ask that all girls arrive at 4:15. Girls are encouraged to bring their own laptops, but we can provide them if required. Space is limited and sign ups are required!
